Went today, and it was a pretty good one. For once, I got exactly what I was looking for, for little to no fuss...

saw a chunk of sheet metal on the side of the freeway on the way there,
took the next exit and looped around to pick it up. pretty decent Model A rear fender with very minor road rash. while making the first loop at the swap I come around the corner and there is a Model a chassis complete minus one rear fender. turned out I knew a couple of the guys with the stuff, wouldn't have mattered, he got his fender back regardless. bought a set of '50 Merc wheels, chromed with rears reveresed and old white walls on all four, nice fitting old Port-A-Walls on the inside of all four too. |

Saw lots of pals and I bought some good junk. 34 dash, 32 K member, F-1 crossmember, 34 front bumper braces, juice brakes, 47-48 wishbone, some early SW gauges...One of my favorite meets of the season!

I've heard about this meet a number of times and was finally able to coordinate one of my visits with it this year. This is a huge meet, spent 6 hours just walking through it all. Picked up a few parts, also seen some good deals. This was the first swap meet my girlfriend ever went to, and she enjoyed it.
