I stopped by my friends shop and studio the other day in order to use his TIG as I didnt have the right rod on hand.
This friend of mine, whose name is Michael Ulman is a welder by trade but also is an unreal artist. I do some stuff myself, but what I do is build furniture from scratch from reclaimed wood and steel, Michael builds hot rods and motorcyles and other stuff, completely from scratch from reclaimed materials. Some of the stuff is large (for example the Postal Hot Rod is built from a full size Mailbox, some of the stuff is smaller like the Bomber Plane, built from a WW2 bomb that is like 3 feet long) Check it out! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I image it takes a lot of talent, time and patience to create works of art,but why a rat rod inspired piece although the work is nice?
On the other had the dragster and bike are absolute knockout .HRP

Well some of the stuff on the harley I would like to won to use on something a little less artistic. That old pre knuck mill is cool as well as the back half of the springer.
For me the rust would be an issue but I am not an artist and I am sure that there is a message like social decay or something that I am supposed to get from his work.
