I've been lurking on this site for some time now. Always been into motored and pedaled things, so naturally gravitated to cycle cars. I've built a couple of motor bikes but I really want to build a cycle car. I'll be registering this for the street as a "modified" motorcycle. It will be a three wheel version of Tim Gunn's GN Grafton. That's the plan, at least. It will have wood frame members (ash or oak), motorcycle 21" front wheels and a 17" rear. I'll be using a Honda SL125 motorcycle as a donor, so will use that engine for power. I have to work out the jackshaft arrangement. I've assembled many of the parts already and will start with a fir frame to begin with, then once all the brackets and suspension points are figured, transferred to a more proper hardwood timber frame.

That tends to happen when you use the chassis tubes for the exhaust, as Morgan did in the early days----

To me it looks like tha axle is too weak not sure if the rope around the bonnet and tied to the axle is going to help much either but it looks fun and that the main thing

Not quite a cycle car but I thought you gents would enjoy it anyway. We have a detailed post up on The Old Motor about the early Cameron and believe this may have been one of the companies first racing cars. Stop by and check out the post we have up on this very interesting car with walking-beam valve gear.

It doesn't get any more basic as that Cameron car love the brake , little plate on a lever that rubs on the tyre ,
