Default 1953 Chevy BelAir

Location: Jacksonville, FL   Price: $4,900
Up for sale is my 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air. It is an original 235 & Powerglide car. The body work was done about 5 years ago by the previous owner. All panels line up nicely, and is an overall solid car. The floor pans were replaced also. The only body issues are a couple of rust bubbles showing on the drivers door, and one on the drivers quarter panel. It was a running car earlier this year, but the engine started to knock. I started to pull it out to tear it down, but due to my divorce, I need to sell the car instead. I have another 235 that came out of a running car that is also included in sale.

The interior has new insulation on the floors, firewall & rear seat divider, along with new black carpet & door and kick panels. All the glass is good, and windows roll up & down nicely. Most of the exterior trim has been removed and smoothed, and you can't tell where the old holes were filled. It has a new alternator, water pump, belts, coil, hoses & battery. It stops well, the master cylinder was rebuilt, and all the wheel cylinders work well with no leaks. The tires are radials with painted white walls. They have really good tread on them. The seats are original, with some generic seat covers on them... The gauges all work, with the exception of the gas gauge. Asking $4,900 obo. Willing to take a partial trade of at least $2500 cash plus a project car. Preferably Model A body, or a rolling 49-54 Chevy/Pontiac/Buick/Olds...
