emails from people in UK answering classifieds
not that i have anything against people in the uk
but i just (yesterday) posted a want ad for a 57 ford hood and clearly state that id like to find one within 150 miles so i can pick it up well today i got 2 emails from 2 different guys in the u.k saying they have a hood now me being in ohio how in the hell im i gonna drive to the uk to pic it up? i really dont know where im going with this but come,on people read the ad your responding to this isnt the first time ive had people from the uk answer my ads

They are
1..not in the UK 2..Scammers phishing for email addresses or even better getting you to send them money. many many threads on here about the same thing.

Try posting a new advert for a Thingo mark3 and tell them you need a whatsit that fits the tire trim and I guarantee they will tell you they have it. Scammers are just a waste of time.
Seriously - Most likely not in the UK either and most likely Nigeria or some other African country.

GarethR was looking to scam me. I am looking for 33/34 3w door. Said he had one. $280 including shipping! I asked him to send me a pics of the door and instead, he sent one of a complete, very nice chopped 34 coupe. He said he was tearing it up for parts because the engine had blown. I told him he was full of crap. Wanted Western Union money sent asap. Beware guys!

Be careful with these scammers. These people usually are from UK, Nigeria, Romania and they can scam you with good methods like fake shipping websites...all u can do is to ignore the messages. Beware!
