Up for sale is a 56 Chevy 3100 truck. (That’s what the fender moldings say. The title says the DGVW is 6000.) It is a Short-box Step-side. It has been converted to independent front suspension and has power disc brakes and a tilt steering column. The front and rear axles both have 5-on-5 bolt patterns. All the glass is good. The exterior will need repainted as the clear has mostly peeled off due to the sun. The paint in the interior is in good shape. It has bucket seats and the bed needs a new wood floor and the metal straps that hold it down. The engine is a newer 350 with the long water pump and the alternator on the right side. It has side engine mounts and an electric fuel pump. Topping the engine is a 4bbl Edelbrock model 1406 600cfm carburetor that sits atop an Edelbrock satin finish intake manifold. It has vintage aluminum finned valve covers and a Delco-Remy HEI distributer. This thing fires right off everytime. The transmission is a Turbo 350 and it has a Hurst Indy H shifter that’s been modified to work on an automatic transmission. It has plenty of power and gets excellent traction. The tires that are on it have a lot of tread left, but the sidewalls are weatherchecked. It has 15in grey steel wheels with beauty rings. If you turn the wheel too short, the outside front tire does tend to plow. It has a nice, shiny chrome front bumper. It also has dual exhaust with glasspacks and sounds sweet. This is an excellent restoration project or drivable as is. For any questions, call 515-314-8486 or PM me. Thanks for looking.

Bump. I found out that the front IFS is grafted out of a Camaro but is still using the original truck frame. Our mechanic says the reason the front end plows, is because the front end turns too short. He said it's because of the combo of the original steering sector and the Camaro IFS. Thank yall for looking. -Philroy
