Default Embedding Photobucket Videos
Seems like video embedding has changed here on the HAMB. I am trying to embed a Photobucket video that I shot and I'm not having any luck getting it to embed...all I see is the code or a > sign...I have tried using the direct-link code, the embed code in both 'post image' and the 'insert link' function and neither seem to work...

Please suggest...

Am I asking a technical question with no answer?

Are Photobucket videos forbidden?

To the best of my knowledge you can only embed YouTube videos.

The alternative would be to place a link for the Photobucket video in the forum like this one of Jake Shimabukuro wailing on the ukele. Copy and paste the link below your video marked as "Direct Link".

You may have to make sure that the video is in a "public" view album. Though I just checked and this is in one of my "private" albums. Let me know if you can't view it.

I can't find a way to embed a video from photobucket either, I would upload it to YouTube and then embed from there.

Thanks gents...Yes the linking to Photobucket works fine but I have found that people are 10X more likely to view an embedded video over a linked one...Just trying to share!!

I do have a YouTube Channel so I suppose I could do that but I had another use in mind for that...maybe I need another YouTube channel...
