Default Have you wondered

who owned your car before you.....who they were and where they lived and drove the car? On my way home the other night I was driving the back roads , headlights lighting up the road , and it suddenly came to me that there must have been a number of people who experienced the same view out of the windshield of my 48 Ford. My car travels the roads of Maine now , but when cleaning out the car before starting the tear-down I found an Oklahoma state inspection certificate from 1974 on which the owner is identified as Ed Tiedman ( spelling ? ) of Kingfisher ,Oklahoma. It would be interesting to know more of the history of the car.

I often think about it. Maybe the excitement the first owner had when they saw it new at the dealer. Or the feeling that a 16 year old kid may have had if it was ever his first car, etc. These cars have a story to tell.

I often wonder how my car got into the condition it did and where it came from. What was the event that made someone stop caring about it and let it decay. I also wonder where my cars have been and what they've seen.
