Nothing much to add here but my sympathy, and another free bump!! Thanks to everyone that is stepping up to help those that need places to stay, storage space, or help to get out whatever personal belongings that they can. We went through some tough fires last year, and being one of those people that ride on the trucks and try to put the fires out (volunteer firefighter for the last 15 years), be sure to thank a firefighter for what he does !!! Chances are, if he/she is a volunteer like the fire dept. that I am on, those "Thank You"'s will be the only thing that they will get in return. Pray for rain .... gentle soaking rains !!!!!!

It is getting really scarry here !
Looking west to the mountains the other day , when the fire was is boulder.
That was too close for me.
And knowing what is going on to the north and south.
My prayers go out to you guys in danger.
I have a cabin in Grand Lake and if something starts up there, we're in trouble ""
Hippy Killer ,,you live up there in grand county

My wife and I were there Tuesday when it really took off and started its rampage toward the town. We stood with good friends as we watched their homes burn to the ground from the other side of the highway. I've been in Colorado all my wife, dealt with many wildfires, never have I seen this kind of power and descruction.

Nice of you to offer this. Thankyou

I live right across the road from the Academy & watched in total dismay the horror show of 350 homes being lost to the fire Monday evening. Although we worried about all our friends getting out, I worried too that some good "iron" might be going up in flames in that upscale neighborhood. Sad day here...

Hippykiller/Fantm58, my inlaws have a place in Grand Lake, too. Those orange mountian sides just scare the crap out of me.That is a bad situation, all around.
Another bump,
Eric
