We saw the pickup in your reg spot one time but when we tried to find you couldn't, then you moved. Don't know why we never saw you down by the entry. Is Dales 40 usually at Ottawa Ks River Run?

I bought my car locally about 8 years ago as a basket case. Is there a similar car in Oklahoma? Color is near a stock blue color - little bit more gray / black in mine.

Heading my way. Was listed as a 39 Deluxe but looks like a 40 standard nose to me. Back window is 39. Anyone familiar with this car?
A hacked up truck. I'll use it someday.

One way to hide the dirt, splattered bugs and rock chips is to take pictures in the dark. Here's one from last Thursday morning, of my '40 coupe.

here's mine. just bought it back after being gone since 1978. true barn/garage find. been in the same garage for over 34 years. built like you see it in 1976. no changes except for the missing 2-4's and the a/c. gonna be fun getting it back on the street.
alan as found ![]() as it was in 1978 when sold.

Good luck. I had a set of those wheels on my yellow 79 ford stepside in 1979.

This car trips my trigger. I love the color. I've been without a hot rod for a little while now. I keep coming back to this thread and dreaming about a 39 Deluxe or any 40 coupe. I'm actively looking but everything I find is too expensive or too much work. At my age I just want to turn the key and go.

Appropriately this thread gets bumped today as it's 40 Ford Day in Buena Park CA. I am about to start on the revival of my 1940 Sedan Delivery - it's been dormant for five years and enough is enough....

Here is the 40 from this area, probably early 90's. Sorry the picture is so small. This was pre-digital so I scanned it. Not smart enought to make it larger.
