I got a rear engine car that I will have to have recertified soon and
my roadster when I get the cage fixed. I probably want have the roadster recertified I can keep it under the 9.99 mark and not hurt a lot of parts. This SDRA car is to do a little cheap bracket racing if there is a such thing and get my daughter some education on the workings of a racecar!!!! Thanks for the help guys some of my parts are starting to fall in place this tubing deal is the biggest hold up right now but it is just a pebble in the road of life.

Well tubing will not be here until tuesday.
It was suppose to be here friday so that spoiled the plans for the weekend. I guess I will work on the round-to-it list this weekend instead. Hope everyone has a good weekend and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS and thanks to all that have served.

That just bites when you have a long weekend then your material doesn't show up!!!! Kinda like going to the high screwl prom alone.
Good luck with the round-to-it's and, as another retired old duffer always says, "There's always tomorrow" P-Dog...... |

I also love the things you ordered from company X specifically for their quick delivery claims (usually for an impending meet).
Invariably, delivery day begins with an e-mail or a phone call; "Part(s) back ordered". That's been the cause of more midnight oil sessions than my original procrastination.

Great news after ordering my tubing 2 fridays ago I find out today it may not be here this friday
. And people wonder why the economy is in the dumps. I think 2 weeks from Chiacgo to Atlanta is completley unacceptable . I will get off my soap box. I hope everyone had a good weekend I got a few things off my "round-to-it" list.

Well after a month I got my roll cage tubing today. It looks like I will be starting on the chassis after the 4th. I hope the build goes faster than the material ordering.

Yes sir old28 it was a great feeling for me and my partner to get this thing started. Wish I was smelling smoke but that will come. Wish I had a little more room in the shop to work on this thing but I made room for it.

Get all the tubing you need and great guys at S&W Racecars in Pennsylvania, make sure you get your sanctioning body's rule book, NHRA or IHRA and build to their specs for the class you intend to race in. Sounds like a hoot, good luck with your project......s!

Ya my man, that shop looks like it may hold the parts for 2-3 more HAMBster's, I love it. How often do you make a trip from one end to the other to see what treasures you have amassed.

Well the summer has not went as planned. Way to much overtime worked and not near enough racecar work done. I have gotten a few more parts up. My partner and me have plans for labor day weekend to get some chassis work done. Maybe we can fire these monsters off first of next year. We still have a healthy debate over who will be faster my Chevy or his Slowpar. I still got a jr and a super comp car to finish up on too. Hey onthe bright side the overtime does pay for racing parts. I got about 6 weeks before it will be firewood cutting season.

Remember the movie....Shievy.....shievy.....shievy...BANG...BAN G......all I can say is I will come around you at half track, just watch for flying parts!!!!! I wont need those parts anyway. For those of you reading this, both cars will be identical except for motor and trans. but I will have a fifty pound weight advantage in the driver seat!!! LOLOLOLOLLOL!!!!!!

Good friends and a challenge to boot.
![]() As I am a Chevy guy, got to go with the Chevy 6. ![]() Remember normal rule, tenth sec per 100#, just think hole shoot. ![]() It's already more fun than Super Comp and your Jr driver will want one in a few years.
