Still searching for a good 'ol NAPCO 4x4 factory or converted truck to buy. I'm hoping that some fellow members might know of a good, solid running 4 by pickup for sale like the one's in the photos below. Looking for a 1/2 ton but wouldn’t turn down a 3/4. I’d be interested in finding either an advance design 1954 or 1955 1st series GMC, or a 1955, 1956, 1957, GMC task force power pak 4wd truck.
*If someone has complete set of 1/2 ton running gear I’d be interested in it. I figure If I don’t have luck finding a complete truck I can find a nice old 2wd truck and just switch out the drive train. (650) twozeroeight - 4884 -Garrett- Borrowed pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My dad has a '60 Ford that's a factory 4WD if you're interested. No bed, no engine, but otherwise complete.

Levi,
I own and run the forum at www.napcopowrpak.com Join the forum. I'm sure we can help you find one. I think it's a bit off topic for the HAMB. BTW, I own a 55.1 3600 NAPCO and a 56 GMC 100 NAPCO, and I can tell you for certain that the first generation trucks and running gear is FAR more rare than the second generation. Go to the above address, click on the red and black NAPCO globe, and join up. Oh, and the blue truck in the picture above with the huge winch... I've been up close to that truck. It's the Hood River, Oregon area... Odell or Parkdale I think. |

@ AD_NAPCO - I just joined up. I'm sure it's a pretty safe bet to say that if "Ryan" approves the NAPCO's on here, they're right on topic for the HAMB. As for the blue '55 in Oregon, I take it that it's not for sale?
To everyone else, thanks for all the replys. I'm still lookin'... |

@ CONAPCO - Thanks for the reply to the ad. Although your truck looks fantastic, I guarantee that it is out of my price range. Best of luck with your sale. Cheers.

Levi, a friend here in Southern Utah has a nice, original '56 NAPCO Suburban in running condition. It has a fee tricks done to it, but its mostly original. Shoot me a PM if interested.
