This was my dream car, it took me 5 years to pry it out of the previous owners hands. Circumstances dictate it must be sold. I have not seen one better.

Previous Cal. car been in Canada for about 15 years.

Absolute rust free never damaged rare and desireable coupe.

The car has been nosed and decked, remote trunk.

See photos of the floor pans with original paint.

Painted Dupont Hot Hues Hot Rod Black. Hand painted Pinstriping (Rolly)

New complete Lebaron Bonney interior including full trunk has carpet instead of rubber floor mats.

Every piece of Chrome replated by a High End shop .

All stainless polished by the same shop.

All new safety glass with new rubbers and fuzzies.

Lowered 2 inches in front and 3 inches in rear.

All new stock brakes and front suspension.

Excellent running Flathead with a chrome dress up it and Reds Headers. Also Pertronix dist.

Three speed Overdrive transmission.

Converted to 12 Volt.

New VDO gauges in stock location, Moon Tach.

Single C.D. Stereo and speakers.

Recent full dual exhaust system with Glass pack mufflers.

N.O.S. steel 51 Merc Skirts.

Four New Diamond back radials .

New Tanks Gas Tank.

New rebuilt SKIP HANEY waterpumps.

Why by a pile of JUNK and pay for all the body work and paint etc. when this can be had for a fraction of the cost. They are original only once.

I will look at some trades but prefer cash.

Last week, this car started to spit white smoke out of the right bank. I pulled the head and found a hairline crack between the exhaust valve seat and the cylinder but not into the cylinder. I KNOW IT CAN BE REPAIRED, but I will not do it ( I am not a falthead fan). I have decided to sell the car as is at a reduced price of $28.K. If not sold I will put in an overhead V-8 and be done with it,

I will also look at some trades.

By the way it is a 1949 Merc not a 1950, Sorry for the confusion I dont know where my head was at the time.

Recently purchased a good used 50 Merc engine as well as a 9" REBUILT Ford rear end. Last chance before installation and then the price will go up. TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE IN THIS CONDITION.
