1905, NYC, Broad St, showing smaller company stocks not qualified for the NYSE being traded on the sidewalk, or "curb". In later years these stocks were traded inside and became the American Stock Exchange, but the curb name stuck. Rare photo.

PADDLE BOARD RACING Photo: DrummondAs the experts strive for honors, these streamlined hollow paddleboards,* leap ahead at a speed of about 7 miles per hour. Obviously a good lifeguard water rescue device, as well as a healthy sport. Paddleboard racing is popular in Hawaii, California, Australia, South America. These boards measure from 18 to 22 feet in length, and are from 151/2 inches to 18 inches wide, maximum. They are 4 to 6 inches deep and are constructed out of a hollowed-out Balsa wood hull, covered with fiberglas. They weigh from 20 to 30 pounds and are all custom built.

I dont' get the photo in 21916 but I'd say that's Joe Namath.
Either a movie or his dark side before the pantyhose commercials...

And, not sure if everyone knows this --news to me---but if you copy and paste the post number from the referenced thread as I have done above , it becomes a link and there is no longer a reason to copy the whole photo should you want to comment on it.

C.C. Ryder with Ann Margaret 1970. Except for Ann Margaret, if you didn't see it, you didn't miss anything.

I'm trying to remember if this was some kind of Oldsmobile and how long that body style lasted.

Don Gregory (7) of Columbus, Ohio and Mike Miller of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc. both had two-door models of that Cutlass in ASA. Bobby Allison once called Miller's "...the ugliest race car in America." I kind of liked having something besides a Camaro or Firebird out there.
