Roadster stolen at Pomona

I'm enlisting the help of the thousands of H.A.M.B. folks. My '32 Roadster was stolen last nite (1/30/2011) from the parking lot of the Sheraton hotel at the LA County Fairplex. I was attending the GNRS and staying at the Sheraton. The car is a semi-gloss black, heavily pin-striped, steel-bodied (Rod Bods), high-boy roadster with a 6-71 blown small block Chev, Wanlass/Rodwell windshield, black leather and aluminum paneled interior. License number BERBNZ. (Bare Bones)

There's plenty of distinguishing characteristics on this car which make it unmistakable. I've included some photos. If someone is offering you a screamin' deal on a blower setup (Mooneyham), a steel '32 roadster body, Chevy small block motor, 700-R4 transmission, 9-inch rear end, American Racing Torque Thrusts and tires, a Wanlass windshield, or any kind of parts, be advised - they could be hot.

i never thought i would know someone that got their hotrod stolen, was real bummer to hear the news ....you had one of the origional so-cal frames that were completely tig welded right?

for someone to have enough balls to steal a car like that they must of had a plan.... either they wanted the motor ,...or they are semi hotrodders and planned to part it out ...... i remember going to mooneyham with you to get the blower ...you have so many miles and memorys in that car it must feel like a family member by now....i hope you get it back

Current economy and the damn thief's go hand in hand. A ride like that should have had a device in it. It seems the thief's are getting the very hi dollar rides now and it dosen't make any difference to them if it's one of a kind!. I hope your able to get it back since its a vrey nice Roadster.

 

That sucks!!!!! I hope someone out there finds your car. Seems like every time I log on there's a stolen car and it's starting to get old
