  9. Great story! Without evidence, no one would believe it!

I agree, you have to build it, what with the provenance you have given that old body by saving it as you did :)

  10. I'm getting excited to build something out of it!!!

Even if I just use the cowl to build my pickup that would at least do the Willys some justice!

I'm glad that you all enjoyed the story so much!

It was too funny not to share!:D

Bad ass you only live once the story will last more than one life time. Being hard headed and never giving up makes for a full and wonderful life way to go!

Great story...... I cant wait for the rescue of the other car in the trees!!!!! I am sure recovery will involve an engine, propeller, parachute or hotair balloon :D:D:D

  13. Or do it A-team style, a lawn chair, garbage bags, a hair dryer for hot air, and a really long extension cord.

It would have to be an old Balloon from Thanksgiving day parade, maybe Garfield? :D

Awesome! My gramps used to take me mushroom picking when I was a kid. We found an old 48 Dodge in the woods with a tree growing up through the engine bay. When I was in my 20s. I went looking for the car again. Only a stump was left. Someone beat me to it.

    love posts like this...

thought i was crazy for having to cut down 2 big fir trees to pull a '29 dodge out enough to zip-line it down a hill. beer doesn't always make plans happen as planned. the dodge was fine, but it still hurts a bit on cold mornings when i'm getting out of bed.

at least i didn't have to dig, make a barge and float it out. damn good job ya guys did, and damn entertaining!

I thought my story about being ran over by my best friend, by my own truck, broke down on the worst part of MLK, as the sun was going down and the crack heads were waking up, 2 years ago for Roundup was a good one.

You sir have taken the cake.

This story is almost cooler than a big pair of boobs...

Wait there's a pedal powered hippo in it... you have surpassed the coolness of boobs..

Dude, I was in Nebraska last Feburary. You just don't get to see the true coolness of boobs there when they are under 5 layers, trying to keep warm....:)
