Default spotters guide?

Are there any spotters guide books out there that cover ranges of years of multiple makes? I find alot of stuff sitting that I don't really know what it is. Is there a book thats helps identify each model? 20s 30s 40s 50s?

that's a cool book! I always hate it when I know 100% what a car year is, then some expert is trying to tell me. I can see one of these would come in in handy for 20's/30's/40's/50's all makes Chevy's are easy to tell. I had a car encyclopedia my dad got me when I was about 10, I used this book up looking at all the cars, that book was about 4 inches thick and had all the years/makes and specs/ production #'s. I saw a guy at the LBC swap using this book to quote bumper chroming as he could see every year car in it.

I have three of the Tad Burness books.Got them in the late seventies. Best money I ever spent on car books.I don't know what the price is now but I paid $9.95 for each of them.
