Please help me indentify this

I need a little help identifing this dash cluster I bought at a swapmeet for my Model A project.

Ha Ha...you sure that's not an outdoor thermometer???

It's kinda cool...whatever it is!!

 

Are there any markings? Brand name, Manufacturing Co name? Some companies were exclusive to certain makes.

 

Looks to me like it would have come from a mid-30's Mopar or orphan make. The smaller needles look like they may be Stewart Warner. Post a pic of the back, and tell us any numbers stamped (in paint) on it.

 

The make is stewart warner and the numbers appaer to be 542C

It is a very very cool panel of unknown origin. If you hate it I'll be happy to take it.

 

I'm going to make this work if it kills me. I think it's cool looking and just about the right size. The speedo white numbers ring looks like the same stuff piano keys are made from.

 

Now that is cool

 

I don't know what it came out of, but it looks to have been made by SW in 1935.

 

oh there is another post on here about stewart warner guages..maybe ask that guy if he knows what its off of

 

This is out of a 1934 Nash

 

Somewhere there's a guy who needs that really bad to finish his Nash who would whine and complain if you wanted more than $25 for it. lol -

 

Elephant teeth??? You can't use that in your car! it's not environmentally safe....
