-that dixiefried poster (its rad) someone posted it on myspace a while back- did someone actually draw that in cad? when I first seen it I thought it was redrawn from that book how to rebuild the famous ford flathead-

-I'm prone to doing drawings like that- look at my last TJJ shirt with the chassis- sure wasnt trying to steel anyones thunder- pardon the pun...

for the last month I've been useing CAD TOOLS from Hot Door in Illustrator doing production drawings for a design firm in MPLS- Call-outs and Scale measurements galore- I just installed cad tools on my shop computer and wanted a good excuse to use it.

-as far as the theme of that drawing- I think they use the same inspiration a "technical drawing" but they're two totally different pieces of art for two totally different shows.

originally I was going to use yellow the red was a last min change- heres the pencil final and you can see some of my earlier concepts that ryan posted on mail call last week-

Goes to show we all love the same stuff- its all about the details- lets just not trip over them.

dammit I shouldve illustrated the dizzy- I liked that idea better it just wasnt as powerful.
