August 4 Banger Meeting!

Well, I did a search and then scanned the posts,...??...What!...no August 4 banger meeting yet??

Unless I missed the post, lets get her underway!

Went out to Ohio with the roadster and found out she was overheating,....(got there with the help of a - tow dolly!!) Of course most of you know the overheating problem I've been facing due to my post on it. We got her streetable while there,...but she needs to be finshed up. Got her for her maiden voyage at about midnight...



Yesterday,....my buddy came over with a machinist's straight edge, we took a look at the head,...that was fine,....but the block is WARPED! The amount of oil at the top of the pistons and oil in water in radiator made both of us think that this poor block is cracked somewhere.




Found a B block locally, but the guy's asking waaaay to much. I'm still trying to get a built cragar powered B off a local guy,...hopefully my friend will come through!!?? Sure would be nice if he did.....now on the hunt for an engine!!!
