I saw them roll in to Norman, It was great seeing all of those old mills going across country! I was impressed, but I agree the new corvette did not fit in!

I was in Norman too. Met a great couple in their 356 Porsche coupe.
They have a blog too at http://bumfuzzle.com/ They have no support vehicles and are leading the Rookie class, 23rd over all as of Monday, July 9th They saiked around the world for the last 4 years and Ali has not driven a car in 5, she is doing great! Say hi to the racers when they stop along the way. If you see Ali and Pat tell them hello from HB and Mikel (Norman, OK) |

Saw them in Norman also. Just posted some of my pictures in the other thread on this. I should have put them here. I have a few more so I'll see about putting them here.

Haven't relaxed all that much. 20 years ago the newest was a 48, 20 years later and the newest one is a 69 Chevelle SS. 48+20=68.

I get 4 weeks vacation a year. I'd save it all for the drive of a lifetime. Put me on your list of prospects!

Anyone see that semi-turned-hotrod? All I got to see was a low-res photo on a friend's cell phone...

Hey, I dont care what any of the rest of you think, Corky Coker is a super nice guy as far as I'm concerned. I walked up to him as he was getting out of his Buick when they stopped here at Lubbock and when he saw me in my HAMB shirt he said 'theres a guy from the HAMB', shook my hand and acted like he had found a friend in a crowd of strangers. I got to talk with him about 5 minutes or so and he told me to get someone to take our pic. You know how some people act like they dont have the time for you, will he's not one of them. After 5 min. I felt like I had taken up enough of his time on a 20 min rest stop and left him alone. While we were talking a young man about 12 came up to look at his car and touched the chrome exaust and got burned. Corky immediately grabbed some ice out of his chest and gave it to him to put on the burn and made sure he was ok. Heres the pic of Corky, myself (center) and Cecil. Cecil has a couple acres of Tri 5 chevy parts so if anybody needs anything I can get you in touch with him.
