Damn.
Sorry to read of your loss, Jive Bomber. I am sure your Dad was so very proud of the auto journalist that you had become under his guidance and influence.

We never seem to be able to find any words to make it any better, but only know that we feel very badly for the loss of your Dad. He sounds like a really great man, and I'm sure he will be missed by many.
Hang in there. RIP. ![]() Don |

I am sorry Jay, that would be the hardest thing I can imagine. Remember the good times you shared, the lessons learned, and know he will always be there, looking over your shoulder.

My condolences, Jay...losing my dad was by far the hardest part of this whirlwind called life so far. Remember the good times and the bad, learn from them, and pass them on. Your father will always be proud. God bless

Our prayers are with your family. It's a tough one, lost my dad 15 years ago and still think of him almost every day.

Jay, I'm sorry you lost your dad, it was just June 2011 when I lost my dad and it will be a wound that will stay fresh for a while. It hurts because you miss him, but he's waiting for you with whatever heaven holds. (A killer shop with unlimited parts and projects would be nice.) Remember him fondly, it keeps the love fresh too.

....The hardest questions to ask are the ones that will never be answered.
Parents are a wealth of knowledge over and above being only to happy to lend a hand.
