So Pat Ganahl has a new book out titled, "Lost Hot Rods." Essentially, it tells the story of a number of well known cars that were lost and later found. It's a neat slant in that the book really focuses on the "hunt" more than the prize. As such, you... To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here. |

Got one coming. I dig Pat`s writings and slant on all things hot rod and custom. A too tall point of view!

I just found mine.
I've just been out of touch, bought my first Rodder's Journal last night #9 and on page 87 is my Panel era 63. Met up with an old friend at the last show, he thought the picture was mine. Finally saw a copy last night. What a surprise to see my car and a great picture too. Thanks Pat (Surf Rod's). Still have the Panel and looks the same, a we bit older. |

Hey Ryan, thanks very much for this big-time mention and the nice words about the book. I really appreciate it. People seem to like it--and it was fun to do. As I've mentioned here on the H.A.M.B., I'll be signing copies at AutoBooks in Burbank on Saturday, and at the SEMA Show in Larivee's art booth. HAMBers come by and say hi if you're in the area.
Big Thanks, Pat Ganahl |

Pat is an excellent photographer, writer, historian, Hot Rod builder etc. and has more history in his head (with ALL details) than anyone I know....his books are always top notch.....and he's always ready with a "too tall" story...
