Default Tasteful Interior: The '55 Studebaker



My dad just finished up his latest project, a 1955 Studebaker Commander hardtop, that came out stunning. One of the crown jewels of this entire car is the Don Kite interior. Don and my father go back 40+ years in Kansas City, and although Don is reti...

Outstanding interior, and yep, that retractable ashtray/armrest is the cat's whiskers.

Wow, that does look dead on and tasteful, hard to find work like that. Too bad he is retired, but glad to see he'll still do a sweet job for an old pal we can enjoy looking at. Very nice.

They had beautiful interiors from the factory didn't they? The lend real well to rolls.
I just love the console in th back seat. It gives you the feeling of buckets in th back. Although they were not a good car for sleeping () back there because of it.

That is one beautiful set of hydes.
