I will preface this thread with the following statement:

I am not of sound mind.

Now that I've got that out of the way.......I have found a new use for the Chuckles Sedan's old motor. I'm going to put it in my 1962 Falcon.

I am going to make this as period perfect as I possibly can. This will be a REAL Gasser built to the 1965 NHRA rule book.

spindle mounts

6x2 Nailhead with maximum setback (NOW a Littlefield blower with 2x4 4-Jets)

4 speed or a switch pitch

2x3 ladder frame

9 inch

econoline front axle (changed to straight tube)

fenderwell exit pipes

no hood

no interior, just a dash pad a couple seats, and some period instruments.

It will be called the STRANGE BIRD!

We would prefer all the stuff to be obsolete but most is normally what we end up with.

A nail in a Futura a little different but in a good way.

It was produced from 57-66 so I'd say NO to that one.

But I also can't imagine anyone would have done this. Big FE motor, Yes, but a Nailhead, not bloody likely

I'm not looking to be talked out of using the combo together. It works for me. It should generate alot of double takes when people walk by it for sure.
