Default The 1955-1956 Plymouth and Dodge Thread

Hi everybody, I figured I should make a thread for all the 1955-1956 Plymouth and Dodge guys on here, I know there are some of you! let's see em! and post up any sources for parts for these cars because if you own one, you know how hard it is find parts for them! So post up tips and tricks for these cars you might have come across, parts resources, parts interchange information( like how a 66-70 B body 8-3/4 rear will bolt up, just have to move the spring perches) that kind of stuff! I'll start it off with my 1956 Plymouth Belvedere, 2 door post, has a 361 big block in it with the 2 speed powerflite in it and a stock (for now) rear end. Let's see these special 2 year only cars!

I'm looking at picking up a 56 Dodge Royal Lancer. I still have to go look at it, but if it all checks out I'm going to buy it.

Here's mine. Long story about how I got it, but the short version is that my Dad restored it for a guy just before he died, so it was the last car my Dad did. I found it 15 years later and bought it on the spot, the guy even had pics of my Dad working on it in his shop and his hand-written estimate that he gave me. I've made some changes to it, but it still has all of Dad's bodywork (and there is a lot). I'm running a 315 Super Red Ram. As for parts, there is a guy that posts on www.forwardlook.net that goes by the name of "Big M" who has been very solid to deal with.
Oh, check out the collage in the rear parcel shelf.

Thanks BadBob. Me and my buddy Dru regret not talking with you in Sac. Everytime we walked by there you looked busy so we didn't want to bug you.
