I'll bet he didn't have half as much fun in that Alfa powered replica as he did in the GENUINE Offy powered KK 2000 he just recently restored and brought to the Miller Meet.

Wonder if Joshua is the son of Wilbur Shaw, who won at Indy, I think more than once.

Hey! That's bitchin Ryan. Thanks for sharing!!

It was an Honor, and a BLAST to turn some laps in the #98. What a fun car!

That car is by far, one of the Best "Obeying" race cars I've ever been in. The Car and tires completely out handle the Horse power and you can run 5th gear WIDE OPEN with out lifting around Milwaukee! (You still gotta pay attention and be "On top of it" to do that though... ;))

HUGE thanks to the Doc and the Fella's for letting me run it! Can't wait to do it again!

Just to visually see and SMELL a batch of REAL OFFY POWERED INDY ROADSTERS in my sights at speed was worth EVERYTHING to me!

If I had to guess we were running a very comfortable 100 - 110 mph

....oh, and one last thing. I was there for WORK. :p

    Thanks buddy,

    J Shaw

SAAAAWEEET! Full screen it was just like a Video Game!.....Would love to do that!...Remember running my '46 around Auto Club Speedway (Fontana) and doing a 120 MPH and it felt like I was barely moving..... such a strange feeling.

Those are rock chips from the USAC feature that camera rode in the weekend before! I wasn't able to get a new case before I left for Milwaukee.

Video was really great Thanks Ryan.
I'm from Fontana and while never been around that one did a couple laps around Riverside in the 60's. Turn 6 kicked my butt and never got over 90 but made some lifetime memories. Thanks for bringing them back.
    Next month, bonneville!!!

This year's Miller Meet was great, as usual.

I logged about 200 laps, over the two days, in the Carl Schulz' #15 Boyle Valve Spl. 1927 Miller replica.

Its always a great honor to participate in the "Millers at Milwaukee"!!!

    So cool!

The car appears, opens and shifts like a right-hand driver. I never noticed that before, until getting to sit behind the wheel with you.
