In the the Shadow of the Hollywood sign. One day I noticed a crew clearing debris from a hillside. So I come by and parked to get a better view and lo and behold what do I see, but this!

1940 Ford coupe. Musta' went over the side back in the day.

Also a couple of safes! This one had a hole cut in it to get to the loot.

Looks like they drilled a bunch of holes to cut the safe open, like so many hot rod tail lights were done back on the day. hahaha, too cool!

  14. Maybe it was an old movie crash scene car and they just figured it was disposable.

Man that might be worth getting out. I would call the city see if you could clear some old scrap metal for them.

The car surprisingly still has a fair amount of paint on it.

Might go back and get the cowl. I pulled one of the plugs and and it was rusty so the motor's probably toast. Getting it up the hill would take a winch and a lot of cable.

it might be cool to preserve it where it is. i wonder if someone may have died in it . Is this gov't owned property? Is it accessible...how far would someone have to winch it out?
