What i think is so cool is that they even finished the ends of the shackles. Times and tools were totally different but they still took the time to put a nice radius on the end. Just flat out cool. Can't wait to see more!
Sledge, Happines is................A '39/ '40 Merc coupe or Conv, I sure do miss Mine. Don't see too many DeSota bumpers w/ Guards on'em ! And, those Looong Shackles Were thew Way back then..........Made It corner very nicely (ha) ........... Thanks guys. Not much happening with this one right now, just collecting parts. I did manage to get the motor running so with a little work I should be able to get it driving. The plan is just to drive it the way it is for a while then eventually do a full restoration!
Kevan This is mine Merc lowered 6 in rear and 3 in front. And choppt 3inc. I´m have started with the carson top. And I hope it will be there before the summer. Pleas post some more photos on your top.
