You could do this car a bunch of ways.
    Through the years it evolved.
I did it as an early version.

I am trying something a bit different. Ya, I know you have probably seen someone do it before. But for me it is a something I have never done before. Relief print onto textile. I am going to be using my linoleum block that I print posters with to print onto shirts. I have some layout ideas already brewing that you can look at below. I even did a test print tonight with my letterpress after I finished up some client work. To get a good contrast I and going to experiment with bleach to lift some color then hit it with 3 or 4 colors on the press. Don't know how the finished will work out or if the oil based printing ink will hold with multiple washed so I am going to start testing stuff when I have time.

These ideas are all with existing blocks I have cut for poster work I did last year. They are really close to size also.

  19. OK- This is a commision & I shouldn't post it but I'm a nut.
18 x 12" of the classic Jesse Lopez '41 Ford. Detail shown. The full version of the artwork shows the car as it was owned by Danny Lares in the early fifties. Prints will include the Barris crest. I plan to do a version of this piece with details as per J.L's time of ownership.
    Hope you dig it.
P.M me if you want a print..
