Projects Turning a "Rat Rod" :( into a Hot Rod :)

    Ok so I'v decided to turn this "Rat Rod" in to a real hot rod, Here is my 12 step recovery haha. I will be posting update pics throughout the build.


    Step 1: "get the car stuck in the back yard while trying to move it because it sits to damn low.

    step 2: End its life for good, pull the motor and front end in the snow, which sucks btw

    step 3:Build a new frame NOT CHANNELED 6", yay i don't have to use a hoist to jack up the car haha, I'm still working on the frame at this point so this is not finished by any means, I still have a lot more to do before its ready

    I must be getting old..... I refuse to wrench in a snowbank or sliding around in gravel.

    I was thinking the same thing, I would've left that sucker till about April or May. Damn!

    Please tell me you did not chop the roof on a decent factory ford woodie body and you just built your own..

    Glad to see you are raising it up and going for a hotrod vs a RR look.

    Can you explain, in words a 65 year old can understand, exactly why you chose the coldest time of the year to start this project? Don't you have TV?
