All right folks, it’s voting time again. In honor of the HAMB, we built any car that we thought would look bad as on this board. Any body style or year as long as it belongs on this site. Only fully completed kits were eligible. Vote for your favorite. We will be awarding 1st and 2nd place. So go ahead and vote for the one you like most:

All ten builds are really cool. It's hard to pick just one! The diorama on #6 though, wow.

The details on Number 3 kick azz.,

Rust around the water inlet, rad and the dirt on the tires are over the top...

You'd almost swear this is a real car and not just a 8" toy.

Good job to all the guys but Number 3 talks to me.

I don't know anything about modeling, so pardon my ignorance. What does "Only fully completed kits were eligible" mean? Do the models that appear customized come as a kit that way, to be finished? Or, are guys fabbing parts and modifying?

  28. Moe, exactly what i thought, just perfect. i can nearly smell the overheated oil after the race and the mud dryin out on the headers while the driver gets his trophy and a large cold one! all of em are nice but #3 hit my weak spot! nice poll and fantastic builds! hats off to you! ;)

That means-suspension,engine,interior and body must be completed. Each of those are heavily modified kits in one way or another.

Really hard to pick. They're all great, with obvious attention to detail. Lots of work in all of 'em.

    1. - T coupe...Very nice.
    2. - Ford truck...Very nice.
    3. - Stock car...Awsome detailed realism.
    4. - '59 El Camino...Sweeeet.
    5. - Dragster...Very cool, and nice custom paint.
    6. - '34 coupe...More awesome realism.
    7. - Deuce 3W...Really clean. Rubbed paint?
    8. - Sports car...Cool. Nice freehand airbrushing.
    9. - '58 Impala...Awesome custom paint.

For realism, (and I guess that's what model builders strive for) #3 and #6 are excellent. You almost expect the wife to come out the door with lunch, looking at #6. But based on realism of the car itself, I'm gonna have to agree with MoeFuzz...#3 "kicks azz". I vote for #3.
