Well I finally broke down and got a 32 frame for my roadster. I have not got much done since getting it home. I need to trim the sub-rails in the trunk, I sat then engine in tonight so I can start getting it all set up. Here are some pics of where I'm at now. Don't mind the garage it is a mess work has been keeping me busy so I don't get much time in the garage.

That deuce frame is going to make a solid foundation for your hot rod. Looks good already just sitting under there.

This thing has been nearly done once and I did not like it, I have had it for about 4 years now and never liked the model a frame under it.

You will also pick up 2 1/2 inches more room in the engine room due to the 106 inch wb vs 103.5. That really comes in handy.

I need to figure out how to redo the trunk sub rails then drill and tap the frame for the new mounts.

Thanks Hotrodprimer I liked it that way but it was half assed and needed a lot done so I decided to go hi boy 32 rails, I built a nasty small block for it but have a 401 nailhead that I had planned on using that is going to get the full treatment after I wear out the small block.

Here are a few new pics, trimmed out the trunk area and test bolted in my trans to see where I need to modify the sub rail.

Rod and Custom magazine has a article on doing this. Look for the issue with Dean Lowe's vanilla colored Chevrolet hardtop on the cover. BTW ... Dean Lowe is a member here :)
