Rolled Anglia is Coney Island Ralphs 1st Anglia, after Willys pictured previously. In the back ground of the Super Vette is a 40-41 Chevy coupe that flipped at NY National I have a picture of it somewhere, Yup I found it.

  16. This A coupe was Joe Pisano's first drag car. Later ran in A/GS with a blower. Absolute show piece.

I saw this one, Steinegger and Eisenbaugh -- header came off in the lights at San Gabriel, (note the last pipe missing), apparently they were galvanized steel, hit the tire (note top missing), car did a slow roll in the lights and off into the dirt, flipped several times...the ambulance crew tried to get Al Eisenbaugh into the ambulance but he refused and there was quite a struggle getting him in...the announcer chastized them for the galvanized pipe, noting that the same thing had happened at Phoenix a couple of weeks earlier, except the car stayed upright...after this crash, they came out with a new Fuller car, the "Alladin Plating Special," shown racing Wenderski at Ramona (this was the run where John was killed)

Jeez, this is like a grand finale after a great fireworks show, THANKS!!!!!

Thank's Doug. And you even got a shot from a swedish magazine with the US flag colored cars at MAntorp dragstrip. I remember those cars well, very proffesional back in the days.

Maybe he's got one of those hard plastic booster seats they used to give five year olds at Sambos.
