Anybody know of a good scan of all the dimentions of a stock A frame? Looking for the distance between all the crossmembers and a plus if it shows the rearend and wishone attachment points, but not manditory. Thanks Jim

wheres that picture of the guy saying, "Not this AGAIN!" ? We really do need a separate forum for all these things that get asked once a week.

JimA, Don't know for sure if they do the A frame but Wescott's catalog shows the dimensions for the early Ford frames. If that's true I think you can get them off their website.

I, too, need this. Unfortunately I can't enlarge the above pic.

this may be a silly question but are these measurements the same for all body styles? Are all model a frames the same (tudor, p/u, 4 door)? or am i just missing something

I can't draw the line for you, but I had a look at my stock '30 sedan and the firewall is exactly even with the rear-most of the three holes for the rear engine mount.

On the chart it reads 10 1/4'' plus 8 1/2'' being 18 3/4'' from cowl line to the front of the middle cross member. It also reads 3 7/8'' is the thickness of the cross member. So 3 7/8'' divided in half plus 18 3/4'' will give you center of cross member to cowl.

Oh 14 7/8'' plus 12 3/4'' to the back of the front cross member. Doesn't give spec of the width for the front.
