We've been cleaning our shop up for our open house (www.taylorstreetrods.com) and stumbled on this box of NOS "Shore-Calnevar, Inc." caps. They are brand new! The box has a #VK-14 on it.
We were wondering where they were from? Were they something you could order from the back of a magazine or catalog?

    Thanks!

Either way, those are wicked cool.

  3. The crest on the box looks like a Ford emblem. Nice covers!

If they are,you don't want those cluttering up your shop.
I'll gladly take them off your hands:D:D

'61-2 J C Whitney catalog... "3 and 4 prop with bullet center"...various sizes like yours and with 4 vanes on same basic cap. $37.75 for 4, waaay upscale in the hubcap pages!
I think these are pure aftermarket styling and not copies of an OEM cap, as most of those are identified as "Fiesta", "Star Fire", "Lancer", etc.
At a glance, I think those may be the most expensive caps in the catalog!

  7. looks like they mounted a 3 bar spinner on a Lancer base and "voila" something new to sell.

Those are hard to find in used condition let alone new old stock, they came in either the 3 bar like yours and a 4 bar they also came in 15" They're really popular in the lowrider bomb crowd and fetch a pretty penny they're also known as Vikings. Oh by the way would you be interested in selling or trading them ?

  11. Have you come up with a price for these? Let me know and thanks!!
