This goes along with my earlier seat belt question. I need some more length than I've got Does anyone know where I can get 3" black nylon webbing? Thanks in advance, Matt
Frederick's of H...oh, wait, you want the heavy duty stuff! These people rebuild old belts--maybe they'll sell some stock: http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/
What are you using it for? I used to use lawnchair webbing to support flex duct back in my HVAC installation days.
Deuce, most hang gliding shops use 3 inch nylon webbing for the riser straps. I got some from a guy listed in the Yellow pages under "Parachute Repairs." (Black, made seat belts with it) He was also certified to do the stitching if your going to use it for seat belts.
Wow, Donzie, you have too much time on your hands! Thanks to everyone who replied. I really like Digger Dave's approach. I can get someone qualified to sew this "safety" harnes safely! Thanks again. --Matt
With the special H.A.M.B. discount, I may be able to get you some new, for less than you can have them made.
