Little far for me but I can tell you that after Bonneville the Concours D'Elegance at Pebble Beach is next on my list. I have never seen these european car up close but they always leave me in aww when I look at them on the computer. Looks like a great show with some cool car to look at. Definitely would make the trek if it were in my state.
Is that the Satan Coupe I seen in the 2008 Coverage? Awesome!!!! Although I have to tell you Ryan, the people shown in last years coverage look pretty stuffy to me. I don't know if I can swing with that kind of crowd comfortably. I am sure I could make due if I got to see the Satan Coupe though.
This is a great show for a great cause. I showed my fathers '30 Cadillac in '07 when the Cadillac was the "Featured Marque". My wife and I did the semi-formal dinner and charity auction the night before, it was an experience to remember. A fair amount of hot rods that year as well. Jard was well represented as well as O'Quinn. I love hanging out with Jim Jard and trying to explain why he needs to give me his black 5w.
I went to one a few years ago, it was nice,..but kinda fancy schmancy. Looks like the cars have improved a bit from the link to the event.
