Hey guys, it's nice to see that Devins are still appreciated. I've been a Devin owner for over 25 years now and it never gets old! My Devin is a 1961 "D" Roadster, restored in 2000. It has a 1776 VW powerplant which is very reliable and has enough power to give most cars out there trouble light to light. Anyway I've attached two pics of it, hope I did it right. Happy holidays to you all!!!

Hey hudsoncustom, I was at that Carrol Shelbey gathering and parked about 10 cars away from this blue Devin. I never heard it start up but I'm sure it moves....

    Gents,

I own Devin C #DC 1001-4 which I bought in 1998 from Bill Devin through some great freinds of his that were assisting him.

I am in interested in Devin information, certainly info on Devin Cs and also info on the Devin C a Pete Woods drove in various USAC events as well as Pikes Peak.

I am currently prepping my car for entry in VRG track events as well as hillclimbs, rallies and autocross. I live on the east coast and there are a lot of fun events here.

    Thanks.

Welcome to the HAMB, I had a rough Devin about 3 years ago. There are a couple of guys one in Connecticut and another in New York with several of them. Hope to see you at a Lime Rock event.

Are these rare? I know where one is stashed away in an industrial area and I'm pretty sure it can be bought. Probably in about the same shape as the one in the Samba ad.

Not rare maybe just different, depends on the basis for the car construction/history since MOST never saw any type of competition

For those of you that have experience with these cars. What production car windshield will fit? Does an early Corvette roadster one work? I just aquired a body & plan on building it with my son. When he gets back from the Persian Gulf in July. I have access to the molds for the "W" sized body. Hood, trunk, doors etc. We plan on geting a Spitfire to use for the frame & suspention. Not sure of the engine/trans combo yet.
    Thanks Speedy51.

A little rough? I've seen dirt clods that looked better. The body has been choped & modified in many ways. rear wheel flares, doors glassed shut The dash looks like it's been raised etc etc etc. Just go to E-bay motors & put in "devin" it'll come up

Love the picture everyone. My husband has a Decin C #15 of 500, where can we get parts? Since Bill Devin's death, we have no contact for parts. Thanks, Bubbasgirl

After studying the pics I think what I have in the backyard is a Devin body cut in half right through the doors, are they metal or fiberglas?

One of the nicer Devins. From Midwestern Council weekend at Elkhart Lake a few years ago. This car flat ran.

Hi Cliff Reuter etceterini.com here. We have a 1951
Devin bodied Bandini Siluro racing car to add to the
    thread:

Also my web site www.etceterini.com has sections on etceterinis, Devins, 1950's Hmod racing cars, 1950's SCCA racing results, and more. Take a look when you have time.

The pictures from your post are of an Ermini rather than a Stanguellini. Please email me at [email protected] when you get a chance because I'm VERY interested your pictures.

    Thanks!

I have a 58 Devin Corvette Special. I have had it about a year and am trying to find some history about the car. From the stickers and other things on the car it has been raced on the Vintage sportscar circuit for several years. It appears to have a Chevrolet frame (highly modified) and a Corvette 283 with 4 Stromberg 97's. The engine is mounted at an angle so the 3rd member is offset to the right rear side.
