Ford transmission tag decoding

Hey everyone............ pulled the tag off a ford transmission i have and would like to see if anyone can tell me what it is.

What kind of transmission? Manual? 3 or 4spd?

Think it is an AOD automatic...........but want to be sure before i order a shifter for the thing.

 

The trans is a 1990 E150 AOD. Sorry so Late.

 

Resurrecting an old thread with a question. So, FishGalleon, where can I find a Ford Automatic transmission DECODER?

 

I have a fairly complete list of Ford transmissions from 64 - 79 that includes Borg Warner, FMX, C3, C4, and C6 listed by the tag ID numbers. Will that help?
