  1. I love B Models, especially B-61s with a quadraplex. This photo hurts.

  9. and now mack is owned by volvo and the richlands plant pumps both makes out of the same line and a lot of the old school of mack owners/ drivers/ fans think the new macks have lost that tough edge the older ones had. meanwhile i see lots of fleets turning to KWs (even lindsay fox, who had sworn hed never buy one again at one stage due to shabby treatment by the company)
not an old photo, but one of his old trucks. he does have a few of them from over the years, recently saw an old international pulling a triaxle dry van down fitzgerald rd to laverton, where many of his operations run from

Wanted to know if you had any info on this car or where you found the pics? My Father actually built this car for Frank Pennington and I would love to find any other pics or info on the history of the car..
    THANKS!

We saw Flash Gordon(they put the serials together) and Eastside Kids(Leo Gorcey and Huntz Hall, et al) movies there around 1953 at one of my grade school friend's birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't realize the theater was still there. Thanks.

Actually the shots come from my website www.jrcentral.com
The family still has the car and they even sent me some home video that is included in this youtube video.

The Pontiac is made by Silvestri art studios of Chicago and is electric powered with working lights not pedal. It is a smaller scale than many of the other powered promotionals I deal with so they do not fit the adults as well as the others but that does not stop them from giving it a spin.

  29. I posted this pic on the Spotlight Hobbies Board, and someone there is researching that bus! It still exists in a transportation museum, in need of restoration!
It is number 708, the EXACT same bus!

It was strictly an over the counter engine, right? Well they did build a few SOHC Mustang drag cars in 1965 and 1966, actually constructed by Holman & Moody. But did they build any regular production assembly line SOHC-powered cars? Mostly likely they did not, even though they gave the SOHC engines an engine code in the parts catalog. "L" was for single 4V engines and "D" was for dual 4V engines. Apparently Ford did build a '64 Galaxie test car fitted with a SOHC. But what about this '66 SOHC Galaxie reportly built for Ford Racing chief Jacque Passino. These photos were found in a book called FORD - THE PERFORMANCE YEARS (out-of-print) by Martyn Schorr. It was most likely built in one of Ford experimental shops, not on the assembly line. "</CENTER><CENTER> </CENTER><CENTER> </CENTER></CENTER>
