Good work Ryan. Got my copy at the start of the week. The disappearing Jack Peters (the guy who started Throttle) is intriguing.
Very cool! I was flipping through it at the nats, even paused and looked at that article, didn't notice the author though. Can't wait to get it.
come on, spill it... it's not like it will make me any less exited to get my issue... i enjoy every issue, cover to cover...
I got tired of picking them up at the news stand an subscribed at the nationals, can't wait to get this issue.
If it is as good as the photo in todays post, it's a dandy!! But every issue is a super treat. The shot on todays post gave me those goose pumps we all love to have over some hot rod issue. Scenes like this one are what makes going to events when citys are buzzing with rods and customs a blast. Never to much sensory overload!! Thanks for the heads up on the new issue!! Heading for the drags Fri. to experience scenes like this!! ***Yahoo*** The strip record holder for 56 Plymouth Suburban wagons. ~Sololobo~
You have a passion for this hotrod "stuff" that can't be put into words and it shows man......so it's no suprise that yer "rubbin' elbows" with some talented people. Congrats. Meeting expectations??? You don't give yourself enough credit Ryan. Eagerly awaiting this issue.
It's a tough secret to keep, I'm sure. I am real curious to see exactly how this cat gets let out of the bag. You will do this thing right!
We have known Steve since before TRJ came out (I worked at Total Performance)...he started out in a little condo office/studio just down the road from us in Wallingford, CT. Great Guy...Great Magazine! We have all the copies (a lot of #1 - keeping for our kid's inheritance) My favorite is #11 .... :.)
Just to set the record straight ... The subscription cover is of ash's father's Submarine: ... and the newstand cover is of KIRK!'s MCD '60 Starliner: Will be? ... guess you haven't seen his July 17th "I Got The New RODDERS JOURNAL Today!!! SCAN ENCLOSED!" thread (click HERE).
You moonlighting on us now? Sheesh! Seriously,I hope this pans out for you and your journalistic career! Maybe someday you can be the "editor" of a groundbreaking hot rodding entity at the forefront of all things dedicated to traditional hot rods and customs.... Anyway....attaboy!
Pretty Cool news Ryan and what an honor. I can't wait to see the new issue, Joyo's '36 is going to kick me in the ass to get my '35 going I'm sure.
We're talking the other night that if felt like it was time for a new "R J" to be on the shelf. Here is a highlight what we will see in the next issue. http://www.roddersjournal.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=35 I don't subsrcibe becuse I want to be able to pick out my cover. I usually buy the one with a Kustom on the cover.....Kan't wait to get mine. Great job guys!! Happy Trails, Mick
Ryan, I guess congrats are in order. Been looking for #45 for about a week, now I really can't wait!!! Just be yourself and things'll be alright. Cat
What he said! You're just making it worse (kidding!). Seriously, though, what's the secret? The moon landing was in Palmdale, Oswald didn't act alone, the CIA sold crack, what?
Yeah we won't see a copy of TRJ for over a month probably. Someone needs to let the cat out of the bag!!
It sounds like a lot of people already know and several people have already purchased copies of #45 so it is now public knowledge.
It's an honor to have the 36 included in issue #45. I'm pretty speechless about it. TRJ is awesome. HUGE thanks to everyone involved.
Dan Webb keeps turning them out. The one he's building now is also a bad assed old style car that is also blessed with fantastic engineering and unreal workmanship. The cool thing is that he keeps the cars he builds, although he's been offered a lot of $$$$$$$ for each of them..............
