Thats my Brother's old truck. It was rough when he sold it..but you should have seen what he started with! I am happy Kevin took it to were he did, I hope someone gets it and finishes it right!!
Wow, Chris, I think I remember your brother's truck when it sold--it was the runner sold on here, right? Frequently shown with no hood, and kind of patina-ish paint? Either way, this is a killer project. If I had the coin--and the time--I would totally buy it. Great truck for someone.
Yeah, it was multi colored but the running gear was pretty fresh. He drove it everywere. Im with you, if I had the cash...thats a hell of a deal!
Hmm, a '40 Ford would fit a bit better in my garage than my Stude 1-ton. But both are about at the same state of progress and my wife would probably not be impressed if I brought that home. If it was a driver, I'd maybe consider it. Looks like a very nice project with an easy finish up for someone in the right position.
Ryan, is as true a friend as anyone could have. He applied his editorial to help a friend in need… There are countless examples of philanthropy displayed here on the HAMB. More than just a forum to discuss Hot Rod's, a sense of community is alive and well! The truck has not sold, and circumstances have changed for the positive. So the forty is staying home… Thank you so much! sincerely Kevin silva
