progress on my 50 chevy

    :cool:Well made some progress on the chevy. Sometimes I wonder if I in over my head. Some of the posts on here make chopping a top seem like its not that big of a deal. I have found out that there is a LOT of little shit that you don"t really notice until you get in to it. Anyway here are few pictures let me know what you think so far. Very

    It's been a while since I have updated been busy. As for the chop it's done vent windows garnish moldings done. Hung new 1/4 panels, rockers, tail pan. Recently working on installing a Gambino's tail dagger set up. Pictures will be up soon.

    What are your plans for the rear inner fenders?

    Those are a difficult chop, but really look awesome when done correctly...yours is sure in that category !

    Thanks for kind words guy's. my plan for inner wells is to make them I made a templates out of cardboard to mock it up. then I made a plywood buck to sandwich the metal then did releaf cuts so I could bend the edge over. I'll post some pics.

    Great work! I have a '50 as well. Where did you get the replacement sheet metal. My car is roached out in all the same locations. To replace the rear pan is super expensive at the site I looked at. About $375.00. What about yours? Keep us posted.

    Jon SSS, 1/4 panels, tail pan inner, outer & rear body mount came from EMS. Yes tail pan was around $375.00 I made the inner & outer rockers. Made some progress tonight on rear axle slowly I creep.

    Got the chevy back on the ground to try it out. I am feeling good with the progress.[​IMG]

    Back to making some progress on my chevy. It been awhile busy year for us but plan to stay onit now. So here are a few updates got the rear end setup made new inner fender wells and filling in the blanks pictures soon.
