Since Norwell dubbed this the "Friday Artshow"...

Here is what we have planned here, to let the artists show new work as well as favorite works of the artists themselves. All new artwork is VERY welcome. All artwork is to remain H.A.M.B. friendly material as in past art shows. So much of what will be shown you will have seen before but remember these are some of the individual artists favorites.

We ask for those who are replying to leave the images out of your quotes. All comments as usual are welcome. I hope all will enjoy the show.

    Here'<WBR>s a custo<WBR>m Portf<WBR>olio I made for Chris<WBR> Gunn.<WBR> Chris<WBR> is one of Austi<WBR>ns' most talen<WBR>ted and well know Tatto<WBR>o artis<WBR>ts. His wife Krist<WBR>in order<WBR>ed it for him as a Chris<WBR>tmas gift.

    It is made on a base of durab<WBR>le black<WBR> Cow Hide.<WBR> The artwo<WBR>rk shows<WBR> a Fire Drago<WBR>n covet<WBR>ting the Great<WBR> State<WBR> of Texas<WBR>. The body of the drago<WBR>n is inlay<WBR>ed with Fiery<WBR> Red Sting<WBR>ay, while<WBR> the eyes are aglow<WBR> with a Sunbu<WBR>rst-<WBR>Orang<WBR>e Sting<WBR>ray inlay<WBR>. The rest of the artwo<WBR>rk is defin<WBR>ed by the Contr<WBR>astin<WBR>g Red and Orang<WBR>e Stitc<WBR>hwork<WBR>.

    The Lone Star State<WBR> is Inlay<WBR>ed with a Black<WBR> Lizar<WBR>d Hide

    Along<WBR> the spine<WBR> is an Asian<WBR> style<WBR>d Triba<WBR>l Marqu<WBR>is inlay<WBR>ed with a Black<WBR>-<WBR>Cherr<WBR>y Ostri<WBR>ch hide, which sits atop a suppl<WBR>e cow hide reinf<WBR>orcem<WBR>ent. . Withi<WBR>n the Marqu<WBR>is, is the name Gunn spell<WBR>ed out in "<WBR>Katan<WBR>a Cut" Lette<WBR>rs. The spine<WBR> also featu<WBR>res two Steel<WBR> Reinf<WBR>orced<WBR> "D" rings<WBR> to enabl<WBR>e Chris<WBR> to secur<WBR>e his Custom Piece<WBR> with a heavy<WBR>-<WBR>duty Lock & Chain<WBR>.

    On the insid<WBR>e of the front<WBR> covor<WBR>, I have added<WBR> a cow hide loose<WBR> leaf pocke<WBR>t and a Busin<WBR>ess Card Marquis that is inlay<WBR>ed with Red Lizar<WBR>d skin and shows<WBR> the South<WBR> Side Tatto<WBR>o Studi<WBR>os stree<WBR>t numbe<WBR>r 1313.

  9. Cool stuff Farmer.

Here's one from a while back. It's a line drawing scan ned into Photoshop and then colored. the second image below it was well received and was drawn in Photoshop in about 20-30 minutes. The two are a set and, therefore, are connected (somewhat.)

When I first heard drag racing engines it was like a clarion call. My angry youth seemed to be unified with the radical cam profiles of these dangerous & edgy engines.
At that first meet there were floppers somewhat similair in style to this quick sketch. This was when floppers still had variety in engine choice.

P.s; Dumb question- How to reply without repeating images. Is it quote or quick reply ? Please advise.

P.P.S - Jerry Reed-. I'd like to see your paint on this Vette. Perfect.

Finally get to post these. They were finished a couple weeks ago but the receiving constituents also surf the H.A.M.B. I painted these up for a friend who gave one to his brother (Greg) and the other to his father for Christmas. The Rock Farm is a redo of the one I did on the truck, with more detail on the pin-up. Fake rust and fake screws. Too much detail to show. He called yesterday to tell me he loved it.

I guess i will show the wifes end of year project with our work from 2008.
She decided it was about time we had our own pics hanging on the wall so she took the work from the booth,,,,,,,,,,
    [IMG]

and made our home gallery with it

I think what made 2008 fun for us was the people we got to meet, and moving to Texas and making a ton of new friends............here are a couple of pics though from 2008

The wife bought the van for me in April in S.C.......

We test drove it seven miles then drove it home the 400 to florida, and the next week drove it to leesburg bikefest. A few weeks later we drove it to MyrtleBeach to give it to my painter Kevin at Razor Graphics in Fredericksburg V.A.

They then brought it to me at Heavy Rebel Weekend in Winston Salem for its debut show where it was voted best truck by the guys from the saints car club, and the wife finished third in the Bananna pudding eating contest.

We then drove it home from North Carolina, and then a couple of weeks later I drove it back to SouthCarolina to go to another show, and get the interior redone. Then August 8th i got married the next morning I rode back to S.C to pick up the van from the interior shop and drive it back home to Florida. Three days later we loaded all our belongings in the van and the wifes scion and moved to Houston T.X(Just in time for Hurrican Ike)

Killer stuff as usual. Bernie, you need to have a "gallery show!"

I have a friend, Kray Suddeth, that creates skateboards, shirts and a boat load of art. He has a few "companies" including "XXX Skateboards." I recently bought another skateboard from him and when he sent it, he included a few "bonus" pieces. This is an inked piece.....

Great job so far everyone. I have to say for my own work this is my favorite piece. I did this for the first annual Billetproof Show held early this year in Florida. The reason for this is mainly because of what it represented to me and who ended up with it. :D
