  1. This is a pen-n-ink sketch I did about fifty years ago of my first car, a ‘48 Pontiac. [More about it later.] The pie-crust white-wall slicks are from my imagination. Probably should have been paying more attention in chemistry class.

  2. Good Friday to all! Great show! We could stop right now and it would be a success!

Got some stuff done last night....

    Christmas present for the in-laws. 8 x 10 mirror...

The start of a "real" panel. Going to show progression.....

Then the ornaments. The first 2 sets are on their way to a HAMBer in Texas.....

....and finally, a partial set of ornaments I picked up at a yard sale....

  6. :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:Palat= ruler!

I love playin' 'roun with the idea of set-backs- the orange shoe would be 'glass 7/8 scale bod, (like a pro mod), fitted with '64 mechanical perfections ( Greer/ Black/ Prudhomme style)?..

The Deuce has driver sitting set against the twist. So either LHD or RHD. Whichever balances.

I always love this show and thanks to all of those who contribute. Welcome to the newcomers. Here is my painting for the week, not Christmas themed but oh well, maybe next week. Another Hot Rod Revolution themed painting.

  15. Slim that first shot of the Customline is gloriously undigital, richly coloured & welcomely filmic!

    Good looking stuff.
Continuing with the Torque fest here, this is probably the largest piece of print I've tackled.

Ya can't tell from this smush down, but the final piece will be 12 feet long and 6 feet tall. I can't wait to see it in person in April!!

    Happy holidays

I agree, great to see some of Dan's work here - if you haven't before you should definitely check out his site. Amazing work.

Wish I had some of those baubles - don't think they'd make it through the post though.

And yes, prints are available. It works out at $76 inc shpping. And like I say, half the profits go towards making more petrolheads :)

It has been a while since I have been here. Great stuff so far guys! I need to remember to always stop in regardless. At this time, I am not sure if I am even employed or not. I actually did this last year, but cant remember if I posted it.

  29. The photos of my 37 Chevy deliveries really isn't art. Cut out the back ground clutter add some snow and it might make a good painting by one of you talented artists.

If I could draw like the rest of you, instead of being just a pnstriper, I would put up some of my stuff.
