I picked up three wheels at a swap meet, was told they were chevy wire,
but they are the small ford 5X 4.5 bolt pattern, 17" wheels. They are bent spoke, 40 spokes, double cross top spokes ,single cross bottom spokes, the edge to edge width of rim is 4" and the hub cap hole is 6 11/16 or 6 5/8.Anybody know what these are, year, any info and if anyone has one more so I can have a set of four, that would be great.

I am hoping for something more definite in an answer, like someone that has some of these and can veriefy the measurements. Did plymouth use Kelsey Hayes wheels?

Ok, I did have a 33 Plymouth with those same wheels at one time. does that help? The wheels could be an option just like artillery wheels. Not just a one choice for all cars that year.

My friend's restored '34 Dodge pickup has 17 inch wires on such as you describe. The bolt pattern definately sounds dodge/Plymouth.

I will keep an eye out for another dodge /plymouth one and hopefully find one that matches.
