That Conder dude rocks. I actually built my bike around a drawing of his that was in a bike mag a while back. It was a baby blue with scallops. Way cool.
Conder's stuff always amazes me... I'd love to be able to wander around in that guy's brain for an afternoon.... Here's a few from me... some newer, a couple older ones....
Me likes that '63 Galaxie my Polish friend!! Here is one for a fellow HAMB'r, that'll be on a road near you in the not too distant future.... here's one that, hopefully, will come together at my buddy's shop here in Phoenix, the near one BTW.
Dang Jeem, that's nice. What are you starting with, '41 Mopar? One more mild custom just to give it a bump.
How about a T motor, single seater, spun aluminum wheels smooth 31 inch t tires and the Newport Hillclimb ???? ready to begin the build ??????? I printed the pictures...........
JEEM RULES ALL........period. Here is one for a fellow HAMB'r, that'll be on a road near you in the not too distant future.... here's one that, hopefully, will come together at my buddy's shop here in Phoenix, the near one BTW. [/QUOTE]
I wanted to post just one more concept vehicle. It's not a hot rod, nor is it a muscle car. It was concieved in the 80's as a filler piece for my portfolio should I take a shot at Art Center or something. I have to admit that Miami Vice played a roll in it's conception; that and DeLorean's dream car. I just HATED the looks of the Testarossa used on the show and yet I love the the older Ferraris, as well as the agressively styled Countach and so I created a blend of the two; I called it the PENZIA, an Italian sounding word I made up. O.T. but a concept never-the-less.
That '59 Dodge wagon art is mine too bro'...it's "Lucy", the pushcar for Satan. (Yeah, I still got everything, if anybody remembers ATF) Thanks for the fine compliments everbody, I'm amazed and inspired by the work on here. It's especially cool to see Jeem and that polock fella's stuff. BADASS. I'm actually building a '66 Lincoln custom and a '27 tall "T" with a hemi right now. The Lincoln's on the back burner until I get the "T" off the "jig". I'm shopping the one wrench roadster around right now. Ya never know who might step up to have me build that one. Live fast, Draw hard.
Rulers, dang it. I candraw too, I'll show you some of my shit one day, but I can't draw people worth a damn, hands, faces, all that shit, can't do it.
Hey thanks Janne, we were hoping to save the bbbt, by the way condor that 66 Lincoln is looking really cool. What could have been...Here is Mitch's original concept car that should have been. He's included many of his favorite GM cues in his design. TRIVIA...Here's the big QUESTION??????? Can you name all the GM cars that influenced his one of a kind Auto-Rama Show Car??? Send a personal message or email to us with the list of parts from which cars and then we will post the GM year model cars that helped make up Mitch's concept. Hopefully Ryan will see this and when he pick a concept winner we'd like to send them a decal prize also if he will let us. We are going to be sumitting regularly to keep this thread going. Thanks, Joe www.powerandnoise.com
so you fellas that do this professionally or appear to do it professionally..how do you guys charge and how much do your ussall costumers pay for a themed sketch or design?
Some cool stuff and thread. Some real talent. I did a fair share of drawing as a kid, but never drew as good as the stuff on here. Now I kind of want to mess around and see what I can come up with, if I could find the time. I know its not a rod or really even a muscle car, but I kinda liked this one someone did and posted over on the maverick board. IMO it would look better then a lot of the crap out there today, such as the pt cruiser or that ugly honda element.
