You know I see threads pop up here with guys being over joyed with buying a 33/34 5 window and think lucky buggers, never jealous but sometime envious and the think ah well, perhaps one day....

Well just put down a deposit on this. :) STOKED!!!!!!!

Comes with a good 35 motor, box and diff although these are out of the car. Motor has alum heads and intake and apparently reasonably low mileage.

Was going to highboy etc but it could just be a tad too cool just the way it is.

Sorry couldnt help but say something. ;)

It wasnt cheap but with a rust free body, and only a couple of tiny holes in the floor its just the start I was after.

Keep this under your hat. The head honcho here sends real stuff TO China, and only the Speedway stuff can come back. (check that axle first, is it cast???)

Great find, seriously. Who woulda thought?

Was advertised too. :) Yeah nice and close to the port which makes it heaps easier and Tall Paul is based in SoCal so got him to go check it for me - thanks mate!

Glove box steering lock etc are all there.

Did these have a floor panel that goes over the tranny etc and up to the firewall? (See second last pic)

Thanks for the kind words guys - so tired but cant sleep lol.

  16. "close to the port in Cali" ... that makes sense. That thing is one of those Chinese "repops" just off the boat. The metal these use is just crap, look at that thing, one month in a shipping container and it already looks ancient. Sucker born every minute. Sorry Bubbs.

Hey Chris did you ever chop yours, came across an old thread when you were looking and leaning the front posts in?

Good question. Dont plan to be living back in Australia until July '11 although will now try and stay here in China little longer to pay for it as was in a way an impulse buy, but a well considered one.

Will organise some storage for it in the short term and start collecting all the required parts - for what ever build style I decide on. The chop etc will be farmed out so maybe get that going in the interim.

Just time now to take stock, think hard about whats going to happen with it. Woke up at 5am this morning and couldnt get back to sleep :)

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

More then happy to hear views on how you think it should be built.
