These are awesome! I can imagine the tension in the room when you make that first cut and the last. Makes you wonder how many out there started and realized they were in over their heads. Really great thread!

 

Many, many years ago........I still had hair! Started on a Friday evening, finished on Sunday afternoon. By myself..............!!!!

A Great way to start the day!

 

We have lift off!! I just got all the coupe roof welded to the 4 door ,and then cut it off for the chop Some non car friends think I have lost my mind lol! My stepfather lending a hand !

 

I was alone in the garage the night I chopped my Volvo, it was a pain in the ass to lift the roof back and forth alone











Still lots of work and someone crashed my rearend a bit.. .Sigh...

 

yeah, I got one of those too...

a little sceptic to say the least.

 

Josh's Pick-Up which we will some day build. This was 4 years ago or so....

 

Chopped 31 Durant ... I love chopping them the trick is getting it back together

Totally diggin' this thread , Ryan.

 

Two before and afters- of a bit "different" 6" chop I had done for my friend Geri's sedan turned coupe

 

two more.......before and afters
the "Blue Danube" buick[3" chop] at my old shop and after it was done
and a Zephyr coupe I chopped 6" for a customer once.......

 

3.5" chop all the way around. i kept the rear glass full size though.
